This Fenix TK70 flashlight is incredibly bright at 2200 Lumens and is a winner in my view. It is powerful, yet it can be quite tame if on the lower settings. I purchased some rechargeable D batteries and they work great in this light. The focus of the 3 LEDs out the front is good and the flashlight casts a unified beam. I like the dual switch setup and for me it is in the right place and feels balanced in the hand, though it can be a bit difficult to find the switches by feel at times and can be vexing if you are in a hurry. I like that the light can tailstand, though I fear it may fall due to the small base and long length of the light. The lamp head is quite large, and because of the length and overall size, this light is probably best for search duty or when you otherwise need a lot of light. The parts screw together nicely and you can assemble it without the last segment to run it on 3 D batteries if necessary.However, there are a few things to consider about this light in my view. For me, this is not an everyday carry light due it's large size. I also have the Fenix TK45 and this is what I use daily due to it's smaller size and versatility. The TK70 comes disassembled in a cardboard box and that is how I am storing it. I wish that it had come with a reusable storage box or case so that you could store it assembled. I looked hard to find ANY patio lamp that was not electric. This exceeded many expectations. It is adjustable, worked great for me. It is very stable, and we had many kids trying to knock it over, accidentally of course. The light level can be adjusted, again, a plus. Very pretty lamp also. LOVE IT.

The TK41 Flashlight by Fenix is a solid multifunctional flashlight that packs 800 Lumens of pure power which will allow you to dominate in a low-light or no light environment. One of the main benefits of this effective light is that it works on 8 AA batteries and not the expensive CR123 battery. If you use rechargeable batteries you will be good to go and save a lot of money. There was a time when it was not possible to produce 800 Lumens from AA batteries but technology has improved making this a reality that should not be overlooked or under appreciated by the consumer. I do not think I will go back to using flashlights that utilize CR123 batteries unless it fills a very specific need that cannot be achieved with AA batteries.The Fenix TK41 has two buttons to operate the flashlight. One button is the on-off button which also activates the strobe function when it is double clicked - very fast, simple, and easy to activate even under stress. The other button switches brightness levels of the light. There are 4 brightness levels being: 10, 108, 335, and 800 Lumens. The SureFire X300 WeaponLight exceeded my expectations. It is super bright and fit on my Glock 30 great. I couldn't use the quick release rail but the one that screwed on worked great. It lights up the whole room and will blind someone if shined in the eyes. A little expensive but when it comes to self defense you cant put a price on your life.
